Tube-Well Management
System
In rural areas of Pakistan, tube well management is a
hectic job. The tube well owner needs to employ workers
round the clock who would start and stop the tube well
and maintain the accounts of farmers to whom water is
provided. This problem is solved by an automated system
where each farmer is given a user ID and password. The
farmer simply enters in his user/pass and the tube well
starts. Similarly he can stop it with a simple button,
or even enter the time duration after which the tube
well should stop automatically. All activity on tube
well site is transmitted to a remote monitoring center
through GSM. Complete billing information for each
farmer is available at anytime of month on the server.
Faults like blown fuse or overheat warning are messaged
to the owners.
